The Enabling Law addresses the State of Qatar’s commitment to providing emergency medical care for all spectators of the Competition. To implement such an obligation, on 25 September 2022, the Ministry of Public Health (“MOPH”) has launched a new website called sports and health providing local and visiting fans with a wide range of information relating to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 healthcare services and health advice. The website is available in both Arabic and English languages and can be accessed on the following link:

The website contains vital information on the travel policy for the State of Qatar during the Competition. Moreover, it provides information on the Healthcare Services in Qatar. It includes information on Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar’s main public sector provider of specialist healthcare services. It also informs fans on what to do in case of a medical emergency.
The website includes a list of the following entities that provide medical assistance:
- Private hospitals or medical clinics.
- Urgent Care Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation hospitals.
- Hamad Medical Corporation’s Pediatric Emergency Centers or Sidra Medicine Pediatric Emergency Centers.
Medical Assistance in Stadiums, Fan Zones, Fan Festivals, and Fan Accommodation
The website offers information on the availability of medical assistance in key areas such as stadiums, Fan Zones, Fan Festivals, and Fan Accommodation.
Multiple clinics are located at the following stadiums with healthcare teams on hand on match days:

Urgent Consultation Helpline
The website provides information about Hamad Medical Corporation’s Urgent Consultation Service which provides telephone consultation and medical support for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions. To access this service, fans will need to call 16000, select the language, then press 3. The service operates from 7am to 3pm, seven days a week.
